It would appear that the wealthy are paying less and less of their
income in taxes. Rightly or wrongly, our taxation system was based
upon one's wealth - the more you had, the more you paid. (Graduated
is what they call it.) It should be obvious to anyone who thinks that
the rich are paying less and less of their accumulated wealth in taxes.
It should, also, be noted that the total wealth of this nation is being
distributed upward to the wealthiest 4% of Americans. They have created
a monopoly on treasure. Americans were not suppose to notice because
manufacturing was shifted to third world nations... Profits remained
high or higher while Americans could still consume. Even if quality
was ignored. Guard your citizenship - this lie called the American
economy is doomed - as democracy has failed, the only tool of change
will be a violent reaction by the masses. Certainly not the first time
in history that a populace resorted to violence to overthrow an oppressive
government.
