You obviously are another one that pays attention. We need to hang tough when people tells us that we will never be happy if we use our brain and pay attention.
During my last campaign for congress, people would ask me what a libertarian was. Since I had to give a short answer, I would tell them that

Republicans believe in welfare for the rich, capitalism for the poor.

Democrats believe in Welfare for the poor, capiltalism for the rich.
