Daughter still has trouble after bladder and stone removal.
Help....my soon to be 12 year old daughter had to have her gallbladder removed in October. She ended up in intensive care and was very ill from it....of course part of the problem was she went a week in severe pain before they removed it because "nothing showed on any of the test" not ct or sonograms or blood work....then in Feb she had a pain attack that lasted for days in the same exact location same exact pain,,,,they blamed it on swollen lymph nodes in the area. The 24 of April we were in the hospital again in acute pain,,,the specialist finally agreed to see her in the office...My husband demanded they do an endoscopy and ERCP so on Wed,. the 30th of April the ERCP showed several around 30 small stones at the bottom of the bile duct and
(now keep in mind there have been CTs and sonograms and Blood test performed this time and the time in feb also...with "nothing showing") Her bile duct was five time the size it should be and they do a huge sphictrodomy to re;move the stones. She was relived for about 4 days then the pain comes back and she begin to vomit and spit up small amounts of bile after eating...she is also very nauseated after eating...this goes for 2 weeks and another ERPC is performed, this time no stone show, now the doctor think she is just so tired and fatigued that she can't possible have the perspective to tell that the pain is not the same. First it was suggested to see Child Pyscologist...which I personally think is ridiculous..then a pain management doctor...which i also wonder what that is for since it is very evident this child has some sort of physical problem with stone production or bile trauma. Please helppppppp the next closes Pediatric Gastro
