i understand, poeple address me in that same way - I fast once a week on raw juice and this is my first Master-Cleanse - often people don't understand why a person in good shape does these things. The truth for me is that I do them to continue to stay in good shape - to keep my digestive system working properly and ghiving it a break here and there. I think the biggest difference between "fasting" and having an "eating disorder" is REST...a fast a time of rest - to rest the digestion process and it is a time to unload physically and emotionally. I believe if your "fasting" and exercising alot and running around and staying out late - you are not fatsing. But if you take time to fast and slow down, try to rest for longer hours in the night and to moderate exerising say a gentle yoga class, just too modify your life to the easier side as long as you rfast goes poeople will see that you are not in it for the wieght lose but for the Cleanse and Rest. Also if your not telling people it may seem to them as though your are hiding something - and we usually hide things we are ashamed off - be proud of yourself and who you are for taking such a step that's not for weight lose but for health
