Come on now, if you want everyone to agree with you all the time don't post messages on the debate forums. Honestly, I really don't care if you care. You posted a message here in the debate forum, I felt compelled to respond, isn't that how it works?
I didn't mean to come off as rude. I apologize. What I ment to say is that we are a multitude of strangers to this family projecting our own feelings on to them. I know I am. I feel a certain way. I'm sure you know how that is. Therefore, I belive Terri's wish would be the oppertunity to have a natural passing. But, I don't know, I'm specutating based on my own feelings. No one knows what Terri wanted for sure because she didn't leave a health directive. Even YOU don't know.
I feel for the Schlinders too. I can't imagine the pain they are going through even still. It must be terrible. I do know about case law. I think everyone should be allowed to make their own medical choices. If you don't leave a directive, then someone else has to make the choice for you. Was Micheal Schiavo a bad man? I can't say, I've never met him, and I don't know enough to say one way or the other, despite everything I read on this site, I was never in the court room to hear the whole storie. But hopfully the good that has come of this is we all make a point to avoid something like this for ourselves. Our own lives are the only ones we can control.
