Re: Choline MELTS(imulsifies)stones away
Ok I did have stones and stone pain + symptoms like constipation a jaundice occasionally. I started with 500mg of Swiss natural sources Choline Plus which is just 500mg choline plus 50mg of alfalfa, green cabage, and lecithin added. The alfalfa and green cabbage are I assume to counteract the fishy smell of choline. I started breaking the choline tablets in half to 250mg since 500mg was giving me muscle tension, but you may tolerate more than I did(taking extra calcium/magnesium seems to counter the muscle tension if your stomach can handle extra cal/mag which mine could not. Calcium/magnesium is a natural muscle relaxant)
It took me about 7 months to be free from gallstone symptoms taking the very low dosage of 250mg. I have to warn you though you will not SEE any visual evidence like the "Flush", it is a very gradual progress. You will know when it works though because you just feel better and your symptoms will be gone.
I still eat fatty foods like cheesburgers and french fries(sorry I'm not calling them freedom fries)I do more cardio exercise but the the main thing is I take a maintenence dose of about 125mg of choline to prevent further stones. I've been totaly symptom free since Early March after starting choline in Sept 2002.
