this really IS a grat article, containing a wealth of information. however, as much as i desire to get some answers, i was barely able to make it through the entire thing. imagine the poor, dim-witted "average american", what with ADD on the rise, even in adults. i think most people want a quick and simple answer, lest they be bogged down with details they might confuse. i guess that's why "anti-war", "support our troops", "Patriot Act", and "The War on Terrorism" are so effective. they're short and to the point, and an easy way for the air-head currently in office to connect with his "subjects". perhaps an abbreviated version is in order, so that even Cletis and BobbyJo may keep up...
