Re: The Overthrow Of The American Republic

well, there's a rude awakening. i grew up in a country where my daddy paid over 50% of his salary in taxes, and guess what - he NEVER complained. every year, we'd all pack into our car and drive through europe for our annual 5-6 week vacation. my sister and i had everything we could ever want (although choices in the cereal isle may have been a bit slim...). we had good clothes, a great public transportation system, great schools, and, oh, FREE HEALTHCARE! and, no, we did NOT have to wait around for hours to see the doctor. when my mom was sick and needed surgery, and was out sick for 3 months, she wasn't afraid she'd lose her job.
america has a great potential, but not as long as the serfs are bound to the land. the current situation is, to me, very reminiscent of what happened after the french revolution - sure, the tyrranic, arrogant nobility had their powers stripped, and most of them were relieved a few pounds (beheaded), but robespierre, a "man of god", was even more corrupt. i can't remember exactly how it all ends, but look at france now. it's a beautiful, peaceful, productive country, who has the balls of titanium to tell the "supernation" of the world to take a flying leap. vive la france! liberte. egalite. fraternite. and, no, i am not french...
