Re: Expensive protests

If I said yes, would you think it was okay for me to have had 8 stitches? There are many things that I disagree with. I don't go running around hurting people over it. I don't go around doing things that cost the already poor state that I live in so much money that the roads can not be repaired this year or next from the latest cost projections. One store owner in the area they are being held in is going out of business. He has 3 children to support and jobs are not plentiful here since so many companies have moved to Canada and Mexico to avoid having to pay taxes and fees. In my area (central Maine) 4 of the larger businesses have gone in the past 10 years costing almost 1000 jobs. That is more than a 10th of the population in our area. 3 of them left the country 5 years ago and the 4th went bankrupt this year.

I don't call getting hit on the head a peaceful protest. No one stopped to ask me what I believed. No one cared. I don't have insurance, it cost me nearly $700 for the hospital visit and I missed 2 days work. But I'm okay now, thanks for asking.
