Re: 500 imprisoned children freed by allied forces

You know, it's kinda funny.

Certain types keep talking about the "liberal media". Whenever I turn on my TV or read the newspaper, all I get is "rah-rah" sessions for the war, with rarely a critical bit included. Anything pro-war is promoted in any "mainstream" "liberal" publication I have available to me.

So what is it with the "liberal media" slurs?

If 500 children were actually liberated, there must be some news about it somewhere, no? This seems like something the US government would itself be promoting pretty widely, so please show us a link! If something good could actually come out of this war, I'm all for hearing about it.

But this sounds pretty suspicious. 500 imprisoned children for not joining the Ba'ath party? WHAT?!? What possible purpose...?
