Why did you choose this article?

This article seems a bit irrational to me, too simplistic, and catagorical in a way that is ridiculous. I vote independent, not only liberal or to the right. But I have to say that I find this article degrading and offensive to anybody with half a brain. I find that this "they are all the same" attitude is something that I want nothing to do with. Because too often, the worst-case or best-case senario will be profiled and there is no logical reasoning or balance being used by the writer. Also, in this type of manifesto, the author doesn't respect his audience enough to anticipate the reader's arguments or to write about the apparent virtues that may be outweighed by other issues. Oh I forgot, since the readers are "this group" or "that group," every one of them is probably too ignorant to ask questions or wonder in any way since they are "all that way."

If I find this type of argument being used to persuade me, it will, it will persuade me to vote for somebody a little more balanced and respectful. Was this article actually published?

And, if I ever had a legal trial, which isn't likely, I would not want a person such as this author to be on the jury. This person seems to have an absolutist view, but most issues are not so cut and dry. If a 8 year old girl is on a beach, in a bathing suit, is she "asking for it?" I mean, she is scantily clad. What about a 30 year old woman? Now, take that person off of the beach, around 3pm, maybe they pull on a pair of shorts and walk four blocks home. If that person were raped then, would it be her fault? She was walking in revealing clothing in the middle of the day after all.

I guess the liberals would think that she had a right to do this. Would they be wrong in this scenario?

On a side note, I didn't think the woman really died in the made-up story, it seems the question about her cause of death was just posted there at the end to confuse the readers more.
