Am I passing plaque or just psyllium?
I've been colon cleansing for several months with P&B shakes and periodic fasting but I still haven't passed anything I can definitely say was mucoid plaque. Nothing dark black or green or that looks like hardened mucus.
But lately I've started passing pieces of something that might be plaque, but it is normal stool color and not hard at all. I know mucoid plaque varies a lot in appearance, but this REALLY looks like normal stool except it has a tough vaguely fibrous-looking material all through it, which I suspect might just be psyllium. It has a tortured shape like plaque, but maybe it's just because the psyllium formed that way in my intestines. It comes out balled-up but unfolds into a long, thin intestine-like shape, altenating thin and globby. It bends very easily put resists being pulled apart because of the tough fibrous quality. The strength of that "fiber" reminds me of spiderweb.
I have a Candida problem too that I've been treating with Threelac. The die-off has been indicated by swollen lymph nodes. Could the "fiber" be fungal-form Candida?
I hydrated some psyllium in a glass and let it gel for several hours, and when I pulled the hardened glob apart it seemed fairly similar to that stuff I'm passing.
The big question seems to be: If a person with a healthy colon consumed nothing but psyllium and water, what would it look like coming out?
