Fat Malabsorption. Help!

Dear Dr. Schultz,
My husband Vic has fatty stools. He has had various G.I. tests and nothing shows up other than the fact that his stools are fatty. He lived in Cairns (Tropical area), Australia when he got sick over 20 years ago. I am wondering if perhaps he has picked up some sort of parasite? So far he has tested negative for parasites on known medical tests. He cannot seem to digest his food well and is very underweight. He is 57 years old. We have been on the Hallelujah diet www.hacres.com for over 3 years. This has helped a lot, but has not fixed the malabsorption problem.
We have done 7 Liver Flushes since January and this helps for a day or 2. After the 4th flush he had his first formed stool in over 10 years. But after a day or so it returns to undigested and fatty stools. I am wondering if he just needs to persevere with the flushes, or if we need to treat for parasites also?
