Re: Our story...is incomplete
There isn't any pill on the face of the planet Earth that can do all of the above things listed in your post. That is the JOB OF REAL PARENTS to help lead your child through the path you went through the right way. There isn't any pill that will ever be a substitute for 2 human parents. Didn't you have to make your child eat the right foods through practice, didn't you make your child do homework everytime it should have been done but your child wasn't in the mood? Who's going to believe you gave a child a medication and this happened automatically?
Take a few moments to think about what you said. If it were true, there wouldn't have been any need to close down the mental institutions across the nation over 40 years ago. All of those people were on various pills for various ills. The problems were so poorly handled and so expensive the hospitals were cleared out and shut down.
And don't say no one there had the problem your child did. Your child was not that different. Many emotional and mental problems are accompanied by an attention disorder. Or it could be the other way around. It may have been given a different name, but your child is not the first to have this problem.
Your story omitted the details on what and how you used vitamins and all the many details on whatever the ect.,ect., ect. represented.
Taking one vitamin is going to achieve miraculous results only in those small group of particular cases where it applies. And simple-mindedly substituting one vitamin for another is more of the same thing. It does not consititute an improvement in method nor does it mean you "tried everything" as you appear to imply.
Someone who actually had done nothing and did not even attempt to make any changes in diet with vitamins could have written the thumbnail sketch you did about the diet couldn't he?
If you could not pay for college, and your child has to work as well as have a contribution from the employer, may be the only bright spot in your whole description. I should mention that everyday of study and work for 4 years can have a bad effect on many personalities that comes out later. One personality trait they acquire (or had) is a bad tendency to approach problems in a superficial way.
