Congrats! I haven't been to that particular gym, but several others, and I have to say the best thing to do to start out right is to get some time in with a personal trainer. The progress you make is soooooo validating and really helps you to keep on keeping on! :)
Also, for weight management, consider doing a series of Liver Flushes if you haven't already. The liver is where fats are metabolized, and as it's a filter, it can get very clogged. Imagine a fish tank that never has its filter changed. Not good, right? :) I lost a pants size simply by doing two liver flushes, and eating a low-fat no-sweets diet for two weeks. Just two weeks. the only exercise I did was walking my dogs. :)
