Whenever I take probiotics it worsens my sleep quality a lot. Since I already have a chronic insomnia problem I only use them when really needed (like after a Liver Flush to get regular again). I tried many formulas (Garden of Life's Primal Defense, Natren's Trinity, D'Adamo's Polyflora for blood type O, efficient microorganisms EM1 and EMa) but all worsen my sleep issues which is really puzzling me. The problem is more pronounced when I take the probiotic in the morning than when at night. Often I wake up after a few hours of sleep with the need to urinate and then can't get to a deep sleep again and feel absolutely lousy the next day. This happens no matter how little I drink in the afternoon/evening.
Any suggestions/ideas would be highly welcome!
