Hey- I'd go for both. Even energetically, I don't think one set of exercises could make the other null and void, or screw with any of the dynamics of each other.
I think the bottom line is this- the more we move our bodies, the better.
In saying that, it would probably be pretty useful to keep close tabs on your energy levels, moods, and general wellbeing while you're doing this.
The reason I like the rites is that they feel complete to me- I don't feel that there's any part of my system that isn't being worked, stretched and balanced.
Just give them a try and see how you go!
