I am pregnant right now, but after reading the online version of the five tibetans want to do it after 4 to 6 weeks postpartum. But my question is this. I am also wanting to start doing my qigong again. I do the spring forest qigong, and the month that I did it each day I felt really good--right after a month of feeling really horrible so I attribute it to the qigong. The instructor says not do the qigong along with other energy practices. From reading the online book the Five Tibetans is energy related since it helps your endocrine system and your spinning energy circles. It is a different view on the internal energy than the Chinese's. So would I be able to do both? The spring forest qigong is for healing (and I seem to have several health "blockages", mostly just heavy toxic load that I keep working on...) and the Five seems more for youth, virility and strength. I want both! I need more stamina and energy, and I also need more health. Taking care of two babies I am really going to need to be strong...stronger than I feel right now. I love yoga, and think I would really enjoy the Five, and they look easy to me (could be wrong after reading some of ya'lls posts...) Yoga doesn't really seem like an energy exercise, but from the Captains explanations it makes me think the Five is. I don't want to block energy by mixing the two if they should not be mixed, but if they can both be done in conuction I would like to. I would be interested in anyone's views on this matter...thanks for your time :) Caitlin Lorraine
