Doing Other Exercise with the Tibetans?
To give some backgroud. I am somewhat fit 29 year old female. I have been doing yoga about 2 - 3x for several months. I don't have much muscle and have average flexiblity.
I just started doing the tibetas yesterday. I can't do all 21 of any of them except #3 (camel style pose). I do about 12 of the others.
In each morning in additon I'm doing 4 sun saluations & 10 lunges on each leg. After #3 I also do a full yoga camel pose twice for 5 breaths.
It takes me about a half hour, mostly because I have to rest quite a bit in between and spend a few minuets meditation / relaxing before & after.
I will continue to do that and have a strenght train 1hr 2x a week upper body/abs, 1 hour 1x a week lower body/abs.
I am wondering if this is too much, but I really need to gain some strenght. Does anybody else mix these with other things or combine with there regular yoga program.
