Oh, Keith!

You've been holding your breath? That must be so hard!

I have always understood that your breath should drive the motion, so that each iteration of each move involves an inhale and exhale. With the exception of the spinning, in which we just breathe however feels right.

Such as:

For form 2, lift head and inhale, lift legs, lower legs and head while exhaling...

For form 3, inhale when you arch back, exhale when you straighten and tilt your head forward...

For form 4, inhale pushing up, exhale when you return to sitting...

For form 5, inhale as you arch (the upward facing dog part), then exhale as you bend (the downward facing dog part).

I think that if you try this, it will make you feel much more comfortable and flowing with all of the moves.
