Re: NDE's Sprituality or Christianity?

The real question is God still speaking to people today. Some religious people say no. Once the Bible was written, that ended our revealations from God. I say that God is speaking to us every day and NDE's are more evidence to confirm how much God loves us.
In any case, I still believe; I just don't don't see things the way I did pre-NDE. I read scripture through (God=Love)love colored glasses... Once you figure out that God is love and embrace that concept deep down in the root of who you are, it is going to be impossible to recover from it. God loves us like a loving mother loves her child...as a father who watches in admiration as we overcome adversity. Behind the scenes, a father is not going to step in and save us from falling but he will try to show us how to do things. If thing get rough, a good father and a good mother will step in and pull us out of a jamb. We still have to do our part but just knowing that God loves me like the best mother and the greatest father... closer than our best friend, a friend who will never leave me nor forsake me. Some religious folks want to give lip service to talking to God, they just deny that God talks back.
