Deja vu- Skipping tracks on a record
I think of Deja vu as kind of like skipping a track on a record...then skipping back...
It is not necessarily a sign as much as it is evidence that what we are experiencing has already happened. Or like losing your place in a book...only to read something well ahead of where you were. Of course you fumble back to where you left off and try to forget the future part you read.
It is okay for it to have already happened though because even if we know how it turns out, we usually wouldn't want to change it so we would not experience what we have experienced or will experience. Dejavus are just proof that the universe is a big mechanical machine that has wear and tear and does not always operate with perfect efficiency.
I was thinking about predestination and thought; imagine preparing months for a symphony, with the orchestra and all of the practices, but that glorious moment when we actually play before the world, it is still frightening, terrifying, exciting, wonderful, and new. Would we not want to play because we knew how we would sound or do we play because of of our desire to play to the world? It is a new forum or background and a different environment. It is all work in the studio or hall before but then... it is show-time.
