Re: LOVE

One thing about my NDE that makes it remarkable to me is that once you know what real love looks like, human love is only a weak substitute. As much as I try, I can never equal the loving kindness of the being I met because no matter how I try, I will have selfish motives for my actions. That doesn't mean I should not try. I just recognize that I have learning left to do before my love is perfected. If I am critical of my own weaknesses it is not guilt but simply an observation. I indeed have addictions to the material world. I honestly believe I could live on light alone, but my addiction to food keeps adding spirits into my body. At some point...when I enter my spirit body... I will not desire food. But there may be some type of spiritual nourisment that is not a dark spirit? Drinking and eating light would be my preference. Sex is an act like eating. I believe that sex does not have a place in the non-physical world and will not be remembered but intimacy, joy, and afection will make the transition from the material world to the spirit.
Imagine that we are living in a low-light world. Our job is to try to increase the light within us to a point where we radiate love. That is what I spend most of my energy pursuing. Being a positive sincere practioner of love. For Christians...they could imagine a Jesus as a 1,000 watt lightbulb...but the risen Christ as a 10,000 Watt beacon of light.
in the Christian tradition....Christ's body was noticeably diferent than his pre-death Jesus body. Even his own brother could not recognize him at first. At some point... this world's light will be heightened...some might call it evolved....the low light condition of the world will give way to a light filled world...as the light of the world increases to such a great extreme....the darkness will disappear.

Tracey Many Christians think that Jesus is going to return with a sword to kill all of the evil men on earth...this is not the case...the sword that Jesus carries is light and darkness will flee before the Armies of the Lord. Whatever metaphor you want to use....Love will become the dominating energy force in the evolved world that is to come.
When I speak of darkness...that is not necesarily sin...It is just the abscence of love. Darkness is not that important even in this world's energy force...the energy of the world is now only 1/3 dark. But in the future...the darkness will vanish.

Yes and Yes! Our job in the next life can be to guide others in the material world. I have a stong memory of a future where I guide others to build homes from straw. An odd sort of remebering and I am going to try to prepare myself for this coming task.
There is so much to learn in the next life. And most people don't have a grasp on that.
