of Rumi
but why rumi?
there were others
of his kind
just as powerful
just as spiritual
just as free

I think
love comes
when we let ourselves free

but it comes
when we impress ourselves
high spirits
and self esteem

we work to please
and are pleased to work
tired
thirsty
i have found
the water well
it comes from One

when we love another
as ourself
we replenish our soul

does not matter
if some dont notice
or some wont connect

already connected
to the source
birds fly overhead
without my knowledge

the sun wanes
without my remembrance
I am something
only if I have
the connection

the connection
some say is within
yes

but the lifeline
is imperative
you matter
they matter
every soul
is sacred!
