Re: a gentle breeze

here is the point
which is easily missed
when a mistake is made
instead of digging
for excuses
standing taller and taller
stepping back
examine the platform

excuse yourself
and ask a question or two
from people who may know
something different than you
it has happened to me
and i stood my ground
yet offended the ones
who were around

ask their opinion
and know your truth
its best to not say
Ill have it my way

we all play a part
we all have a truth
what helps us grow
someone else may use
yet if they dont
and have another view
ask them about it
instead of claiming
the right and patent
the same sun shines
on all of us
different rays of light
yet from the same ball of flame

compromise
humbleness
when you think you are right
no need to stake a claim
quietly relish a small treasure
even though it may not be
known to anyone
then when you have grown
with more time
you may see something
that puts light into
another view
and that is another door
that was locked before
now open for you to study

nothing
everything
laying a blanket
does nothing
but suffocate the
summertime dwellers

but standing back
to allow the breeze
makes it easier
to be seen
helping

never admit to yourself
you know more than anyone else
always believe everyone
around you is a mercy
to help teach you something

it is a life long learning quest
an uphill struggle at times of stress
we all fail some of the time in our moments
by ourselves, but Mercy has a way
and hope and light may bring us forward
adn in the end we will be greater
stronger after the trial
