Secreting mucous is the body's natural defense mechanism to cell degeneration. For instance a lot of ear wax, a lot of stuff in your nose, and lot of mucous in your throat, all tell me you're mineral deficient and sun-starved. I'm not a medical doctor but I am a bio-chemist. Calcium is what keeps every cell in your body working how its supposed to work. It provides the necessary biochemical environment for your enzymes to work properly and your cell membranes to work properly. Calcium is so crucial to your body, that it controls your nervous system, your brain functions, the heart uses the calcium battery to beat, your muscles to contract, just everything.

Here's something that will burst your bubble even more. Calcium deficiency in young people can even occur by being next to electrical appliances for prolonged periods of time! For instance radio waves, just listening to the radio, dramatically increases the flow of calcium out of your brain causing disorientation. So all electrical appliances can deplete you of calcium. You can't even debate the importance of calcium in biological processes, so anything that causes cellular calcium to leave will cause cell degeneration. Degenerated cells will cause defense mechanisms to occur by the body such as secreting mucous, and altering your organ function, and even your DNA changes to adapt to this new low-calcium environment. Your body is very adaptable based upon the environment your cells are in. The proper environment is calcium-rich which means its oxygen-rich.

Just drinking milk (or intaking calcium supplements) isn't enough though. It's probably even more important to get adequate vitamin D into the thousands of IU's (rather than 400) to ensure your intestine absorbs the calcium you intake in a combination of sun exposure and supplements. When this occurs after a period of time your cells will repair themselves, your DNA will change for the better, you will fill up with oxygen, and your saliva will be alkaline which activates your Pytalin enzyme which in turn helps you digest carbohydrates and kills all pathogenic bacteria who cannot survive in oxygen rich fluids but prefer the acidic fluids.

To be clear, my recommendations are this:

-2000 mg's of calcium per day supplemental. Recommended sources are marine coral calcium if you can find it or calcium citrate/malate.

-800 mg's of magnesium per day supplmental. Recommended sources primarily magnesium citrate.

-2 8 oz. glasses of milk per day, one in the morning and at night.

-Exposure to sunlight for at least an hour a day.

-5000 IU (minimum) of Vitamin D supplement.

If you do all this, your mucous will disappear after a relatively short period of time. Don't take my word for it, just do it and find out. It's cheap, there are no risks, and you have everything to gain.
