Leaky gut syndrome and Candida - all of that info in my case came off good old internet. :) If u do a little search on it u will find that its not something thats accepted by doctors or ADA. Its such a grey area. It was made. And for a reason. So that people can say almost anything on a subject and sell almost anything. Only time will tell if something comes out of it.

Just remember, there are cycles. Somebody is brainstorming a new term or idea or whatever, then they make a product and sell it (with usual comment that we must use it for couple months before we could get real results :). And then they brainstorm again for that period of time, and come up with new buzz. New hype. And then new products start selling... Just look at therabreath. First there was initial product. After a while people started saying all over the net how it doesnt work. Not even a day. Not even 2 hours. Then they released same product but with zinc. Now they have K-12 buzz.

What Ive read there is no way of treating leaky gut (if that even exists) so that somebody would post quantifiable results that could be measured. Its all try this, try that..

U can also find that candida tests (so they say) are extremly variable and not trustworthy. It goes something like this: doctors are looking for verified candida conditions (which everybody says we DON'T have). Then they test a stool or something (which everybody says is not a conclusive test). And then doc tells u its not candida. But what ive read its not like we're supposed to have an oral thrush or something so visible and detectable. We could just have our immune system a bit suppresed which could over the years allow candida to proliferate everywhere, but again we would still have immune system to fight it. Get it? :)

I must say that im not that optimistic about my theory after 2 years of intesively thinking about it. What can I tell u.. But then again.. latest that I found interesting is how Colloidal Silver can work just like some mouthwashes can. It can actually kill ur bad breah for certain amount of time. (Its a known antifungal that shouldn't be taken too freely cause i read on http://www.thedoctorwithin.com/index_fr.html?content=articles/mineral_nutriti... that nobody knows what sideeffects could there be even if label says there are no sideeffects if u take one teaspoon a day :) But its still something to think about when we're talking about candida.

Sadly common people like u and me dont have any scientific facts about anything here. So all we can do is read a lot, discuss with others and use our common logic to try to understand. Usually common logic can be very misleading. So there u go...

Actualy there is one excellent point - forums like this one can be used for finding out which products and tests have already been done by a lot of people so u dont have to spend too much money i hope. And also for promoting a sale ;)
