The food allergy connection may be a good point.

I visited with a alternative doctor who told me Ashley has milk allergies for
me to eliminate all milk products. Well, I did so and Ashley has not had a
seizure since. That was three weeks ago.
Coincidents? I don't think so. This is the child who has had between 3-20
seizures a night, every night for the last 11 months. I am not saying that
this is all that caused the seizures but it must have been a significant
contributor.

If you think about it, the gluten allergy inflames the small intestine
causing it to malabsorb, thus causing a nutrient deficiency. It is a known
fact that Calcium and Magnesium deficiency results in seizures (which by the
way I am supplementing with). Why can't a milk allergy have the same
reaction as an allergy to gluten?
