"It seems to me (in theory) that the meatless diet should work fine because of the odor laden bacteria in meat."
Meat which is thoroughly cooked is pasteurized. It has no active or "odor causing" bacteria. It only has dead protein matter, plus trace amounts of Antibiotics , possible fillers, etc. Any bacteria which consume meat in the gut were already present there prior to consuming meat. Keep in mind that the vast majority of people who eat meat have no Body Odor .
