You still need to drink plenty of water, but you should always add minerals. Dr. Swilling has me add a tsp of tracelyte minerals per 8 oz. to all my bottled spring water(better for you than filtered), plus I take the Cal Mag twice a day, plus I drink Emer'gen C mineral/vit C packets. Dr. Wilson's book suggest adding a little Sea Salt to your water also. I tried it and don't care for the taste, so I add Sea Salt or Bragg's amino acids to my food.
