Thank you so much for the very extensive account of your births, and the natural childbirthing methods that you found useful. I appreciate your time and encouragement very much.

I will definitely get Ina May Gaskin's book and Active Birth. I happen to be in Nashville, which is just a little too far from The Farm for my comfort. So, I'm going with the Mid-wives group that is part of the Vanderbilt Medical Center here in Nashville. I'm hoping that will afford me a fairly non-interventionist approach.

I'm going to take the Hypnobirthing course from a local Doula, but I'm also reading a lot of other material as well. I'm approaching my first birth with hope for my desired birth experience, but with few expectations. I recognize that anything is possible, and being prepared for all eventualities is the best tool I'll have.
