Re: Let me ask you AvgJoe... (and all you other war mongers on this forum)...a loaded question

I say it is a loaded question. First off Wiz, let me ask you this. Would you send your son or daughter to die if say their life would save a thousand Americans in a burning building? Not me...i wouldn't or couldn't send my son or daughter. But, if and when they become adults then they have to make that decision. I keep asking the same question to people and that is do you want to deal with Saddam now or do you want your children and grandchildren have to deal with him in the future when he might have nuclear weapons. Remember he has proven he would use whatever he has and will attack any country he wants. His track record shows what he has done so you can't use the excuse he would never use nuclear if he had it. You are living in a dream world if you don't think he wouldn't sell any weapon he has to terrorists against us. Bush couldn't win anyway because had we let Saddam go and there was an attack linked back to Saddam then you and others would be screaming how he didn't do anything to protect us. I have two granddaughters Wiz, ages 2 and 1 and they mean everything in the world to me. So when i'm gone i want the assurance that everything was done i could do to give them a bright future or i have let them down. Yes, War is hell, but you will NEVER EVER convince me that Saddam should have been left in power.
