Some suggestions that might help heal your son's eyes.

Dear Helen,

The deep pain in your letter, resonated with
me. I'm going to give you a variety of suggestions, some of which I hope will help
to put your little boy on the Healing Path.
I'm not a doctor, but I know a lot about
nutrition and healing. I'm almost 66, and I'm
in perfect health. My eyes are 20/20, the best
vision of my long life. Here are some of the
things I would do, Helen if I were in your place.

1) Healthy eyes contain higher concentrations
of vitamin C than any other organ. A lens that
is saddled with a cataract, contains very little vitamin C. So the first thing I would do is start giving your son large doses of
vitamin C every day. I speak from experience
about this, because I've been taking mega-doses of vitamin C since 1977. Currently, Helen, I take 14 grams (14,000 mg) of vitamin
C each day (spaced out over my waking hours)
in the form of sodium ascorbate crystals.

Vitamin C is the #1 nutrient out bodies need
to fight off infections, and restore us to
good health. I take 1 gram of vitamin C for
every 10 lbs of my bodyweight. I weigh 140
pounds, so I take 14 grams each day.

How much does your son weigh, Helen? Let's
say 70 lbs. His ideal daily dose of vitamin
C would be around 7 grams or 7,000 mg.
Don't give him that much on Day #1. I'd start
with 3,000 mg a day -- 1,000 mg each morning,
noon, and night. If he shows no discomfort,
such as mild diarrhea, then up the dosage
till you get to 7 grams a day.

Your son is sick, so my best guess is that he
will need MORE than 7 grams a day. Last winter, I caught the only cold I've had in 29
years, and it took 60,000 mg on Day #3 to kill
that cold dead. I got no diarrhea (bowel tolerance) from that huge dose, because my
immune system NEEDED that much to kill the
infection. Cancer patients have been given
as much as 500 grams of vitamin C in a single
day, with no bad reactions. They don't take
vitamin C orallly, but receive it via IV
infusions at a clinic. The liquid sodium
ascorbate goes directly into the blood system,
without passing through the process of digestion. In your place, Helen, I would
seriously consider getting your son some
IV infusions of vitamin C. There is probably
a clinic in your area that gives vitamin
infusions.

Sodium ascorbate crystals are especially good
for a child, because you can mix them into
juice. There's no bad taste, and no hassle
about trying to chew and swallow big tablets.
I buy my sodium ascorbate crystals from Bronson Vitamins, my source for 29 years.
Their website is: www,bronsonvitamins.com
and their order line is 1-8--235-3200.
You want product #50, which you can buy by
the pound (around $17.00) or the kilo (around
$35.00). I buy it by the kilo (2.2 lbs).
I have no affiliation with Bronson in any way.

2) What do you eat? If it's the Standard
American Diet (SAD), I strongly suggest the
whole family switch to a vegetarian eating
regimen. Your son won't want to eat fruit
and veggies, if the rest of you are eating
hamburgers. Try it for 3 months. Chances are
very good that you'll never go back to meat
and processed food. I've been a vegetarian for
29 years, Helen, and that's the main reason
I'm so healthy.

Give your son lots of fresh juice, both veggie
and fruit. Give him organic cherries and blueberries to eat, as well as other organic
fruits and berries. They're all wonderful for
the eyes. When you juice veggies, make sure
you include some dark green varieties, like
kale and spinach. They are very rich in lutein, which is a much-needed nutrient for healthy eyes. Of course, you'll want to add
carrots and celery. Give him organic carrots
to munch on.

3) I suggest you give him a first-rate multi
vitamin every day, as well as a first rate
vision-supplement. My first choices are made
by Doctor David Williams, one of the very
best and most respected Natural Health Physicians. I've been taking his Daily Advantage, a multi-vitamin, for years. And
I also use his Vision Advantage capsules.
You can read about those products on his
website: drdavidwilliamcatalog.com

Jarrow also makes a good vision supplement
called Vision Optimizer, that is available
in most health food stores.

Additionally, I would give the child some
bilberry tablets each day. Bilberry increases
the blood flow to the eyes. I get my bilberry
tablets from Dr. Williams's company, Mountain
Home Nutritionals.

4) You say your son's eyes are very dry.
Dr. Julian Whitaker, another top alternative
physician, recommends that you add supplementary DHEA to the diet of dry-eye
sufferers. He suggests you have your doctor
check the DHEA-sulfate levels of your son's
eyes. Chances are good that his are low.
Additional DHEA will help heal the tear-producing glands.

Dr. Whitaker also suggests NAC (N-acetyl Cysteine) for cataracts. Vision Advantage,
the supplement I use, has 250 mg of NAC,
in addition to about 20 other nutrients.

5) Our eyes are about 95 percent water. Your
son needs LOTS of pure water every day.
preferably home-distilled. I would buy him
a special glass or cup, and make sure it's
full of pure water, and always within reach.
The more water he drinks, the better he will be. Banish all the toxic soft drinks, which
help dehydrate his entire body, and especially
his eyes.

6) Buy him a rebounder. It's a superb
exercise machine, which is also great fun to
use. Bouncing up and down on a mini-trampoline
is excellent therapy for the eyes, as well as
other organs. Go to my website here on CZ
(I'll post the address at the end of this
message), and read about the magic of rebounding.

7) Do a Search on Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
It's a way of flooding the body with healing
oxygen. This therapy is used to heal a multitude of illnesses, including vision problems.

That's enough for now, Helen. If anything I
said resonated with you -- if you felt a little "tingle" as you read it -- then your
intuitiion (the tingle) wants you to follow
up on it.

Keep us posted on your son's progress. His
body wants to heal itself, and will do exactly
that, if it's provided with the nutrients
and protocols it needs.

I will keep you and your sweet son in my prayers, Helen.

Blessings,

Owen
