Re: An Update on my Journey

Thanks for the update. It helps me to know how to pray. It's good to share with others when you're feeling a little down because we can help carry the load. I know how it feels to think you're the only one fighting this enemy, but you can always call for reinforcements. :-)

My sister-in-law's mother was just released from the hospital to spend the rest of her final days comfortably as possible at home. The cancer is spreading faster than the chemo can destroy. She keeps my baby niece, the one joy in life that keeps her going.

It's a real battle, there's no denying it. I'm so proud of you for loving yourself enough to take care of yourself. You are an inspiration to me.

New motto: "every day God gives us is a bonus day." :-D
