You really don't need a helper (healing partner) except to monitor you during the cold sheet treatment. When you need encouragement or have questions, you can come here and we will help you.

To find a healing partner, try these ideas: if you have a best friend of the same gender who would do anything for you, and would be strong enough to get you out of the bathtub if you were too weak, that person would be my best bet. This person needs to love you unconditionally and be willing to try anything to get you well.

Or you could ask a midwife or chiropractor or someone who was into alternative health practices to help you. They don't have to have any experience doing CSTs. The instructions given in the book that comes with the IP are so explicit that there shouldn't be any problems doing it.

Or if you have a close relative like a brother, sister, parent, who loves you unconditionally (by this I mean will support you through this and not give you a bunch of negativity) and is willing to try this with you, ask that person.

Lastly, you could try to find someone in your community who is kinda the local health nut or someone who manages a health food store.

I recommend that whomever you ask, unless it is your spouse, the person should be of the same gender.

One more comment- don't let the absense of a healing partner stop you from doing the IP. You can do everything but the CST without a partner. You will still gain a lot by doing the program, even if you don't do the CST. Possibly you could get into the program, and just the right person will show up at just the right time. And even if it doesn't happen like that, you can always do the program a second time at some point when you do meet someone who could help you.
