My daughter also suffered for years from chronic ear infections. It is a very difficult thing to watch. I suffer candida and of course was pregnant with her when i was sick. For years i watched her suffer with this and constant HEAVY congestion-so much so that even at 4 her speech was undistinguishable. I could stand this no more knowing that her problems were most certainly yeast connected so I decided to experiment with Grapefruit seed extract. At the time I was having good luck with it myself. I gave her half of a 125mg pill once a day with a meal. She got used to how to swallow it. I am telling you the results were unbelievable!!! Within a few days her congestion almost completely disappeared and she's had no more ear infections!! That was about a year ago. Her speech is now normal. I realize she is not fully cured of candida because she has some other symptoms ( not nearly as bad as me though ). But this has brought her relief from ear infections and broke thet infection= Antibiotic cycle she was in for many years. With your daughter being so young I am not sure how to get her to take it though. There is a liquid form that tastes very bad. I know there are herbs that work just as good as Antibiotics which don't kill all the friendly bacteria. You might try seeking out a Naturopathic doctor for her. If there is noone in your area could you find a qualified herbalist maybe? I am certainly not a doctor but I got so tired of watching my daughter suffer. I am so far removed from traditional medicine these days. They have been of no help to me or my family.
