Thanks to Shelleycar & all for suggestions!

Hi,

Thanks to all of you for your information and suggestions!

I really enjoyed the list that Shelley provided. I really like the idea of adjusting my eating habits, as I feel that I truly just need to feed myself well, rather than getting so hung up on supplements.

I will look into digestive enzymes, though..

As far as raw foods go, my digestion has improved so much since I eliminated raw foods. The only raw stuff I eat now is maybe a green apple or green foods like wheatgrass. I have read lots of good things about raw foods and previously tried to eat a lot of raw stuff, but I was having consistently watery stools with lots of undigested food. This problem has improved 100% since I began eating only steamed veggies and soups. For some body types, especially those with "excess" issues of eating too much meat or high-protien foods, raw foods can be a great cleansing tool. But for those of us with weak digestion who perhaps even had too much raw or cold foods, we need to eat foods in the form where our stomachs can best assimilate the nutrients--which would be in their sprouted and/or lightly cooked phase.

Take care,
Jessie
