Re: unassisted birth

I do not have dryness of the vagina, my actual diagnosis is Vulvodynia. I don't like that term b/c it just a word for unexplainable pain. I have been tested for everything under the sun, that is the problem, I even went in two weeks ago to get a culture for any type of infection(mainly yeast)but there was absolutely nothing. That's the worst part about this problem is it's mind boggling trying to figure out the why do I have so much inflammation. I done yeast/sugar free diets, low oxalate diet, I avoid anything scented, anything w/ preservatives (food or product wise), I have changed my whole lifestyle, done acupuncture, you name it I have done it. I take evening primrose oil, flax seed oil and prenatal vitamens right now. I am thinking about taking a product called pH Control. There is a theory that sometimes the pain is caused by too much acid. I had my c-section b/c I had preeclampsia and HELP. After trying to induce me for 2.5 days they told me my platelets were dropping and if I didn't go into labor soon I could bleed to death. It was a horrible experience and I actually had a midwife right until the day before my daughter was born that was 3.5 years ago and I already checked on which way my uterine incision was. I sometimes wonder if the inflammation is some kind of histamine reaction, as I am an extremely sensative person like that, but I don't want to take antihistamines in fear of hurting my baby.
