My wife doesn't enjoy oral and has never cllmaxed that way or even had a good time. She does on the other hand cllmax with "normal" intercourse. Not every time and usually when she is on top which does stimulate her clit better. I will admit that she does have better cllmaxes with toys and my hand...which does, as stated above, stimulate the clit better. So it is possible, contrary to the statement above, to cllmax during "regular" intercourse.
