Re: Cipro & Flagyl

I need your help. I went to the doctor a week ago today (Sat) because of a rash/hives. While there the doctor checked my urine and found that I had a kidney infection. So he gave me Cipro. I'm Type 1 diabetic, so the last thing I want is kidney damage.

I took one pill Sat, Sun and two on Monday. It made me so sick. I stopped it. By Wednesday evening my right wrist is hurting. Every day since then by hands, wrists, shoulders and neck have hurt. My hands are the worst with constant joint soreness.

I went back to the doctor yesterday and this doc thinks I've been bitten by a tick. I believe after reading this morning that I have had a reaction to the Cipro and it is damaging my joints and kidneys. My hands are swollen like I have fluid and I did have decreased urine.

I feel like an idiot. I usually look into things I take, but felt it was something I needed. I mean I've taken Antibiotics before. This is unbelievable! No one should be taking this stuff.

What can I do? Please!
