Re: WAnt to share an article I found (internet) and ask for yoru opinions. . .
The author of this article is not correct in that "the old Nystatin" affects the liver. It is a very safe drug, it is given to infants with usually no problems.
The "new Diflucan has also a good reputation and usually is the drug of choice for Aids patients as this antifungal drug is the least likely to adversely affect the liver. Yes, monthly liver tests are done while on Diflucan, if any adverse effects, they usually reverse once the medication is stopped. I was on Diflucan for 6 months with good liver test report. Nizoral and Lamisil, I believe, are more likely to be problematic. Sporanoz, I'm not sure about and Amphotericin-B is very safe and non-toxic, like Nystatin, that is the oral form. It is more potent then Nystatin.
Keep taking daily a good potent probiotic. It is very important. Just do not take any antibacterial herbs at the same time or you are defeating the purpose.
Madelle, Molybdenum is a mineral and can be purchased at a Health Food store. I have taken this supplement over 2 years and it works very well at detoxing candida toxins.
I have taken up to 500mcg. Check out:

Vitamin B complex is needed and I would also take an adrenal glandular extract as the adrenals eventually get runned down from all the physical stress.
Madelle, I say do not completely rule out antifungal drugs, especially if you are having very little results going the natural way.
