My dentist says my fillings are too deep to be removed...

I had a consult yesterday, i have another one w/ another doc. This one said Your fillings are so deep they are almost touching the nerve, if i go near those you're getting root canals on every one of them. 6! She says no way she's touching them. Any sound advice. Don't scare me, please, i don't need it. I've stopped (almost) eating Sugar for 3 weeks now, and already feel a wee bit better, and my white tongue pattern in change. Oh, and also, my dentist is perplexed by my tongue, she believes it is a geographic tongue. I have an appt. w/ a general doc coming up soon, hopefully they have some insight.
