Wow, I'm interested in this, as well. I know I've got yeast, but an alternative (VERY alternative) practitioner I saw awhile back said I also had staph and something else she couldn't identify. I had a deep itching in my ears for a long time, which has flared up once or twice on couple of occasions I cheated with something sweet, like binging on strawberries for a day. I guess that it worth checking out. I assumed it was yeast, but maybe not.
