Alcoholic pest control
Hi, me too - since 95, been taking it one day at time.
Personally, I had NO problem with taking the Paragone Tincture, none, zip, zilch - I just added my drops to a really big (12 to 16 oz) glass of orange juice and stirred really well. This diluted them so much that my body and tastebuds didn't even notice them. Can also drop them in very hot tea to help evaporate most of the alcohol. No side effects, no cravings, no nothing. Bill and company were pretty common sense people and were straight up about when needing health care to get it. (I had a couple of old line old school Big Book thumpers for my first sponsors, real hard nose no-nonsense types who drove that into my head with a jackhammer, lol.)
A typical dosage would barely wet the bottom of a shot glass - just DON"T take it like that. There is not enough to show up in most tests, but if you're the least bit afraid, take the bottle with you to the testing place and talk to them about it. While poppyseeds have been proven to give false positives, I don't know of anyone who's tested positive because of a tincture. Even if there is some trace, alcohol is legal and the amount you'd take in tincture form is so minute that it would most likely only come back that you *may* have had a beer the night before (if that) ... I'll look deeper, but I personally wouldn't worry about it.
If it still bothers you, talk to your sponsor about it.
There is always just avoiding the tincture like some religions require, if you'd just be more comfortable going that route. Buy the ingredients separately and in raw or pill form, or can find another
parasite mix that isn't tincture based. Those freeloading little critters inside don't care if the walnut hull was ground or drowned before it found them.
So, no, we're not doomed to carry around an unwelcome internal zoo. ;)
