Re: Liver Cancer - IV stage

To ahmed: You seem very knowledgeable about cancer. I have an unusual case for you. My husband has breast cancer. He also had a liver transplant. His old liver put out a lot of estrogen and he ended up with breast cancer. He had a lump for years but the doctors told him for years it was nothing. Well it is something, Breast Cancer with 11 positive lymph nodes. He can't do chemo because of his suppressed immune system, a low ejection fraction and is on Coumadin. He had radiation and was put on Arimidex. 10 months later his cancer metastisized to his distal femur. This is being radiated and was put on Femara and Zometa. He does not qualify for any clinical trial, doctors are not into alternative medicine because it could interfer with his rejection medication. What chance do you think he has? I guess this now put him at Stage IV.
Any comments you might have would be appreciated. Thank you.
