Liver cleanse without parasite cleanse?

I have just done The Master Cleanse diet for 14 days and want to do a liver cleanse next. I read that you must do a parasite cleanse first. Is this absoultely necessary? Has anyone gone straight from the Master-Cleanse to a liver cleanse without doing a parasite cleanse? If so...what were your results?
I was just "ready" to do the liver and didn't want to order the herbs etc. and wait a couple weeks for the parasite cleanse.
