The date 25 of december coincides with pagean festivals,I can easily believe that.
Does that matter?
Main point being,IT IS CELEBRATED (my opinion)
I do not think GOD disapproves of joy,adorning a tree,putting lights in them and trinkets,putting on our best clothes,listening to joyous music,etc.
What GOD would like much better (imho) if we would take in a homeless person for instance,and not only for Christmass.I think we all know that
