Re: Polygamy, Shari'ah And the Spread of Islam was not by the Sword
OH yes!
Name me any prophet who told his people in the old and new testaments that he cannot marry more than one woman. Soloman had 70,000 wives and many more so called concubines! Just because Jesus did not marry does not mean he gave an order not to get married, but came not to change the Law, and the Law of Moses had NO restrictions on marriage. Islam put a restriction on a limit of 4. And SEVERE punishment on a husband who does not treat women fairly, also even MORE SEVERE for the adulterer. Death for the adulterer. You find in this day of extra marital affairs- it is COMMONPLACE to cheat! NOT in Islam, under Gods Law, who protects HIS creatures form this grave sin.
Read the sad REALITY on a forum of real people- sex is OUT of control:

Beheadings I dont know much about, but for certain crimes, yes it happens. And this purifies the persons crime so that Heaven is waiting for him.
I have NO idea about these, but if you are referring to things relating to Iraq then you also have to understand we have NO IDEA what is really happening inside Iraq right now, no way to actually find out its too dangerous to go there right now.
Want to steal something? think again, becuase Islamically, you will be punished and the example is so strong, it DETERS the crime from happening again so that the rights of the people are protected. Again Jesus came not to destroy the Law, and Islam comes not to destroy soem of the Laws as well, for God does not Change.
God knows what is best for mankind at large, and man does not. We cannot trust man to make all laws, as there are too many loopholes where people will get abused. Social abuse is the hallmark of MANY nations today, who do not rule justly at all and crime is very high, and evil is rampant. Islam nips this in the bud from the start.
