I know what you mean, God has given us this time on earth to prepare for the hereafter and it is amazing how we waste this time! Watching TV is the worst! You think just 1 half and hour of TV... but that leads to an hour maybe two! Then I think that the average amout of time it takes me to learn one verse in the Quran is about 30 min depending on the lenth(I am Studying Surah Al Baqara). Watch TV or memorise The Word Of God? THE WORD OF GOD!!! Just think... we have in our houses the Message from God, The instruction for how to get closer to him and lead us to a better life and the ultimate ... Paradise! And reading just one letter gives us 10 rewards! How can we afford not to read our qurans! What are we doing for Islam too... How are we doing our duty to tell about Allah and his religion. Even to each other. May Allah guide us and lead us closer to him and enable us to make dawah with patience so that more people with know Allah and be guided by His Word the Quran, Amin! Tweet
