Re: what inspires you
mmmmmmm... Its hard to unplug the TV. I didnt watch TV much before I got married. After I got married my husband and I would listen to speaches on the internet but The tv got the best of us to I cancelled the cable! There is so much haram on tv as well.
I listen to Bilal philips quite a bit as well. I had bought about 20 casettes of his speaches. I also have a couple CDs of Suraj Wahaj.
We started to read the Sealed Nectare in our weekly halaqa. I think however it is something that you must read by yourself to fully appreciate it. I think when we have our next bazar at the masjid I will pick that book up
I have been bugging my husband to buy Bukhari hadith and tasfeer but he is not happy with the amount they charge for them in canada. I suppose I could read them on the internet as well, but somehow it doesnt seem that intimate as it is when you sit down with the actual book...
I am interested in the Anwar Awlaki CDs. I enjoy the stories of the prophets as well. I do have the Ibn Kathir of the prophets but it is very nice to have something to listen to while I am cooking and doing house work.
Is that set expensive??
May Allah grant you paradise as well!
